Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers
are educated, adept, and experienced in the methods of yoga set forth by Shri B.K.S. Iyengar. To become an Iyengar certified yoga teacher, one must have extensive teaching experience and pass rigorous exams given by the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States.
Intermediate Senior Iyengar Certified
Ae Ja has been with the Silent Dance Center since 1977. She has studied with the Iyengars in India six times and at six national conventions. Ae Ja's dynamic classes offer a multicultural dimension including commentary in Japanese and Korean.

Glenn started teaching yoga at SDC in 1977. He is a graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute in San Francisco and has studied with the Iyengars 7 times in India and at 7 national conventions. Glenn has a B.A. in the Psychology & Physiology of Exercise and is a licensed massage therapist.
Intermediate Senior Iyengar Certified
A teacher at SDC since 1977, Sandi is the author of two books, Yoga with a Partner and Yoga for Pregnancy (also translated into Japanese). She has studied with Geeta and B.K.S. Iyengar in India four times and at 7 national yoga conventions. Sandi has an MEd in Counseling.
